The hygienists

We understand that being given a clean bill of health is of paramount importance to you and your family and it is our job to look after you, your teeth and your gums. During your hygiene therapy session we will undertake a thorough cleaning of your mouth to remove the bacterial plaque that builds up between visits, contributing to decay, gum disease and bad breath. The result? A healthy mouth, that is squeaky clean and smells fresh.

Our hygienists, Ruth Anderson (GDC reg no 2497), Loraine Konsbruck (GDC reg no 73222), Kate Waddicor (GDC reg no 171004) and Phillipa Eveleigh (GDC reg no 3197) also offer great advice for improving your oral hygiene routine at home and will show you how to use the correct inter-dental products for your mouth.

The nursing team

Our experienced team of dental nurses plays a vital role in the practice and is responsible for maintaining the strict cross-infection controls that ensure patients and the clinical team are suitably protected. Their support to the dentists and their friendly personalities help create a comfortable environment, making them invaluable assets to our team.

We have five fully-qualified dental nurses: Gill (GDC reg no 105986) ,Maxine (GDC reg no 106009) and Jacqui (GDC reg no 125262), who specialise in radiography, Sheryl (GDC reg no 151464), Kate (GDC reg no 113558) and . They are joined by trainee dental nurses Lisa and Cassie, who are currently studying for their National Certificate.

Administrative team

With qualifications in accountancy, business coaching and Sage, as well as nursing qualifications in radiography and sedation, our practice manager, Marian Grimes (GDC reg no 106425) knows her stuff and runs a tight ship! Marian has been a valued member of the team since 1993 and leads a devoted team of seven exuberant receptionists: Elaine, Sam, Sally, Vikki, Carolyne, Kate and Tillie, who have all been familiar faces at 740 Dental for many years.
